Data collection:
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may be data that you enter in a contact form, for example.
Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). These data are collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
The use of the data:
Some of the data is collected to ensure that the website is error-free. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You always have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal notice if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.
You can contact us at any time about this and other questions on the subject of data protection.
Analysis tools and tools from third-party providers
When you visit our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This happens primarily through the use of cookies and analytics. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous, i.e. we will not be able to identify you from these data. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information can be found in the following privacy policy.
2. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to personally identify you. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We use personal information for the purpose of operating this website.
If you send us a request via the contact form on this page, you voluntarily provide us with personal data such as your name, telephone number and e-mail address. The data is sent by e-mail to info@trust-content.de and stored temporarily. This data is used to answer your enquiry and for possible future contracts or services that we may commission for the optimization of any Google campaigns. By submitting, you consent to the use of this data.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. It is not possible to provide seamless protection of data from access by third parties.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. To do so, an informal email notification to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Objection to advertising e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in accordance with the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example by spam e-mails.
Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects are entitled to log a complaint with a supervisory agency, in particular in the member state where they usually maintain their domicile, place of work or at the place where the alleged violation occurred. The right to log a complaint is in effect regardless of any other administrative or court proceedings available as legal recourses.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data which we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract automatically delivered to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to another responsible party, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.
Information, deletion and correction
Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to request information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correct or delete this data free of charge and at any time. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time if you have any further questions about personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can contact us at any time regarding this. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If the processing of your personal data was/is carried out unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
If you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, your rights and our rights will have to be weighed against each other. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand a restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or on grounds of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection in your browser's address line when it changes from “http://” to “https://” and the lock icon in your browser line is visible.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this data protection declaration, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.
General information on the legal basis for data processing on this website
If you have consented to the data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR or Art. 9 (2) point a GDPR, insofar as special categories of data are processed pursuant to Art. 9 (1) GDPR. In the event of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is also carried out on the basis of Section 25 (1) TTDSG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. If your data is required for the fulfillment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data if they are required for the fulfillment of a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. c GDPR. Data may also be processed on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The following paragraphs of this data protection declaration provide information about the relevant legal basis in each individual case.
3. Data collection on our website
Hosting
The hosting services we use serve to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services that we use to operate the website.
In doing so, we, or our hosting provider, process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors to this website on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of our website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 28 GDPR.
Cookies
Websites sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies in certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required for the performance of the electronic communications transaction or to provide certain functions you want to use (e.g. the shopping cart function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error free and optimized provision of the operator's services. If other cookies (such as those used to analyze your surfing behavior) are also stored, they will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.
Contact form
Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The information you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to eradicate the data, revoke your consent to the archiving of data or if the purpose for which the information is being archived no longer exists (e.g. after we have concluded our response to your inquiry). This shall be without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods.
Inquiries via e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of these data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, provided that your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is required to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO), provided that this has been requested; the consent is revocable at any time.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have finished processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Communication via WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp instant messaging service, among other things, to communicate with our customers and other third parties. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Communication is via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from gaining access to the communication content. However, WhatsApp does have access to metadata that is generated during the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We would also like to point out that WhatsApp, according to its own statement, shares personal data of its users with its US-based parent company Meta. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp's privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
The use of WhatsApp is based on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers, prospects and other business and contractual partners as quickly and effectively as possible (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If a corresponding consent has been requested, the data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of the consent; this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
We will retain the communication content exchanged between and on WhatsApp until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have finished processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
4. Social Media
Instagram
This website includes functions of the Instagram service. These functions are offered by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland.
When the social media element is active, a direct connection is established between your device and the Instagram server. This enables Instagram to receive information about your visit to this website.
If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the contents of this website to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This enables Instagram to associate your visit to this website with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Instagram.
Insofar as consent has been obtained, the use of the aforementioned service is based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time. Insofar as no consent has been obtained, the use of the service is based on our legitimate interest in the widest possible visibility in social media.
Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tools described here and forwarded to Facebook or Instagram, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its forwarding to Facebook or Instagram. The processing by Facebook or Instagram that takes place after the data has been forwarded is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in a joint processing agreement. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook or Instagram tool and for implementing the tool on our website in a manner that is secure under data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook or Instagram products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook or Instagram directly with Facebook. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find details here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum, https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875 and https://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

LinkedIn is informed that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you click on the LinkedIn “Recommend” button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to associate your visit to this website with you and your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by LinkedIn.
Insofar as consent has been obtained, the use of the above-mentioned service is based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time. 5. Analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objecting to the collection of data
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this site: Disable Google Analytics.
For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Contract data processing
We have entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or you can forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Refusal of data collection”.
You can object to the collection and use of your data in the future by setting an opt-out cookie in your browser by clicking on this link: https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/.
If you delete the cookies on your computer, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again.
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
We use a tool called conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. Should the user visit certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can tell that the user clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page.
Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by simply disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your web browser under User Settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, see the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies in certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
6. Plugins and tools
YouTube
This website integrates videos from the website YouTube. The website operator is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When you visit one of our web pages on which YouTube is integrated, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your device or use comparable technologies for recognition (e.g. device fingerprinting). This allows YouTube to obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interest of making our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. If a corresponding agreement has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO and Section 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar as the agreement includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The agreement can be revoked at any time.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Vimeo
Our website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo. The provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plug-in, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. This tells the Vimeo server which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the United States.
If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you enable Vimeo to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.
For more information on how user data is handled, please refer to the Vimeo privacy policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.
Google Maps
This site uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the Google Maps features, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. If Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Web Fonts for the purpose of a uniform display of the fonts. When you access Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. If a corresponding agreement has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO and § 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar as the agreement includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The agreement can be revoked at any time.
Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
